New Shrine Academy is dedicated to providing a quality primary school education to all disadvantaged children,  the emphasis being with orphaned, destitute and children of oppression.  Therefore the school depends on charitable donors and/or sponsors as the majority of the children cannot afford the nominal fee reqired for school tuition. All children are accepted regardless of their ability to pay if they request to attend the school.

Established in 2001, the goal of  New Shrine Academy  has been to help any child in need of an education. If  a child is sponsored they can attend school without adding any additional financial hardship to their already impoverished families. The education of a child can impove the social standing of the entire family, adding hope of a better future for all.

Currently, the school has  approximately 300 students from kindergarten to 5th grade.  New Shrine's ultimate goal  is to provide schooling up to 10th grade in order for all children be able to complete a standard  primary education at the Academy.  At this point they need to transfer out into the substandard public school system.

The actual school has 16 rooms and a playground.   Recently the school has established a small  library and science laboratory with the support of donors.  We thank them for their generous assistance.
